Rebel Wilson Recalls Meeting Meghan Markle for The First Time!

Rebel Wilson said she did not get a warm welcome from Meghan Markle
Rebel Wilson is not a Meghan Markle fan, it seems.
The actress talked about not getting a warm reception from Meghan when they met for the first time.
The senior-year actress appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday where she said,
“Meghan was not as cool. She wasn’t as naturally warm,”
The 43-year-old added that the Duchess’s unfriendly behavior could have been due to Wilson’s mother Sue Bownds asking her a bit rude questions like “‘Where are your kids?’”
The actress added,
“And I’m like, ‘Mom, don’t ask her that,’”
The Pitch Perfect star said that the meeting took place in Santa Barbara, California. Prince Harry, on the other hand, “And I’m like, ‘Mom, don’t ask her that,’”
The show host Andy Cohen asked the actress if she had known before that particular meeting to which she replied saying that they met through a mutual friend.
The comedian joked about the former Suits actress, 41, saying,
“Maybe that’s why she was like, ‘Who are these annoying convicts from Australia?’”
She insisted that Harry was ‘lovely.’

Wilson dissed Harry and Meghan’s Oprah interview at the 2022 BAFTA Awards
Fans on social media had a mixed reaction to the comedian’s encounter with the former Royals.
One Twitter user criticized Wilson’s statement, saying,
“Talking about Meghan Markle negatively because she doesn’t respond to rude questions? Wilson should have more material than this. Boring,”
Another added,
“The British peoples entitlement towards Meghan’s children is getting above strange. I mean it’s been that way – but thank god they are keeping them off that island. Those people are WEIRD,”
A third Twitter user commented,
“Meghan’s mask failure. REAL Celebrities & Hollywood elites are starting to tell the truth that she isn’t a hugger or a warm personality. How dare she disrespect Rebel’s Mum,”
Another user who dislikes Meghan supported Wilson’s statement, writing,
“I believe her. She has good judgment. Meghan Markle is a narcissist. She acted like she’s the monarch when she married a spare to the throne,”
This is not the first time Rebel has mocked Harry and his wife publicly. Last March, after the Sussexes gave an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey the actress showed her disapproval of them.
Wilson did not admire the couple whining about the Duchess’s suicidal feelings and financial abandonment by the Royal Family.
The Cats star introduced the nominations during the BAFTA 2022 Film Awards where she said,
“From drama to fantasy, Harry and Meghan’s Oprah interview had it all.”
“Unfortunately, that’s not nominated in this category, but some incredible films are. Let’s take a look at some of the most outstanding British films this year.”
