Robbery and Shootout Outside Hollywood Hills Home of Fashion Nova CEO, Richard Saghain; 1 Dead, 4 Injured!

On an early Friday morning, there was an armed attempted robbery outside a multi-millionaire home. The owner of the home is an online fashion store, Fashion Nova CEO, Richard Saghain. The violent chain of events left one person dead and four injured.

Around 2 a.m., someone attempted an armed robbery outside Beverly Hills. At the time, when two residents were visiting a home in the area two men approached them. The two men in the ski masks forced the victims to the ground.
When the security guard protecting a nearby residence approached the scene the gunshots were exchanged. The gunfire got stuck in the security guard’s stomach. The hospital is treating him in critical condition. The LAPD’s Meghan Aguilar said:
“They were armed with handguns, they forced them on the ground, they took property. At which point, another a man, a security guard, came out, and there was an exchange of gunfire.”
Two robbery victims and two robbers shot each other during the robbery. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found three victims at a home. The owner and CEO of a fashion online store own the property where the attempted armed robbery took place. It was not immediately sure if Richard was inside the home at the time.
Details of the attempted armed robbery
As per the Investigators, there were three suspects in the car. Two out of them came out armed in ski masks and held two victims on the ground taking watches and jewelry from them. When the security guard approached the scene, they shot him in the stomach.
The authorities took him to the hospital in critical condition. The sources confirmed the security guard is a retired law enforcement officer. He was working as a personal security guard for Saghian at the time of the unfortunate event.
After the shooting, two wounded suspects got into the car with the third suspect and fled from the scene. As per the description of the gray Audi, the officer stopped it at Doheny Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood.
One of the suspects died at the location and officers took another one to the hospital for treatment of the leg. The investigators found a gun in the getaway car and the surveillance video. The investigators are trying to find if the target was the property itself or if the suspects had other motives.
