The Royal Pooch! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a new black Labrador named Oz!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new dog
There is a new resident at the Kensington Palace and it is a Labrador dog, Oz. Prince Harry has confirmed that he and his wife Meghan Markle have adopted a new dog and love it. Meghan said that people continue to not get his name right.
Prince Harry, 38 was speaking at a Youth center in Sussex this week and he said:
“My name is Harry, I have two dogs, and my lovely American wife.”
Meghan who is 41 went on to add:
“I know, and they keep getting her name wrong.”
It has been difficult to confirm the name of the dog but there were some reports last month that the couple has adopted a black Labrador and she is called Oz. Meghan has a beagle called Guy and Oz has been adopted to be Guy’s playmate.
About the adoption of the Labrador
The royal couple had paid a visit to Brighton and on that visit, they went to the Survivors’ Network which is a charity that helps the victims of sexual offenses.
Meghan saw the Labrador and liking it decided to take it as a company to her dog Guy. Meghan also had another Labrador-German Shepherd mix dog named Bogart back home in the US but he was considered too old to make the journey from Canada to London when she shifted her home base from Toronto to the Royal Palace.
She was heartbroken and has kept the dog with her friends and will pay Bogart a visit when she goes to Toronto.
Meghan had adopted Guy and Bogart from a dog rescue home in LA and at that time she was with her first husband Trevor Engelson who is a film producer.
One of the staff members at Survivors’ Network told Meghan:
“While you’re here, we had a local artist who did an intersectional feminist print of your dog.”
Prince Harry also told at the meet that no one has seen their dog yet. It was in September that the couple had revealed that they have a new dog added to the canine breed.
The news from the Palace
The royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith had revealed to the world the name and genus of the new dog of the royal couple. An insider had also said:
“The dog is already happily ensconced at their cottage.”
“Like the Sussexes, the dog will divide its time between the palace and their country home in the Cotswolds.”
Guy has his own Union Jack coat and consumes organic food. They take him for regular walks on the extensive lawns of Kensington Palace. A book of his rags to riches life stated to be his autobiography will hit the bookstands this November.
