Scarlett Moffatt is expanding her family with her police officer boyfriend Scott Dobinson.

The former Gogglebox star, 32, share the exciting news in a joint Instagram post on Saturday, February 18, that she is pregnant with her first child.

Moffatt shared a sweet video featuring her beloved pet, a Chihuahua pooch named Bonnie, on whom they put a brown neckerchief on her neck with the words “I’m going to be a big sister’ printed across it.”

When the British actress pans the camera next to Bonnie, an ultrasound scan of the unborn child shows off, revealing that they are expecting their first child together.

Alongside the clip, the video includes a song, Sleeping At Last by Ryan O’Neal in the background. Further, Moffatt simply captioned the post,

“It truly feels like a dream writing this caption. Me & Scott are on cloud nine & we are so happy that we get to share this moment with you all. You are so loved already little one. Baby Dobinson coming soon”

The pregnancy announcement comes just a month after the pair celebrated their fourth anniversary. Last month, Scarlett shared a romantic Instagram picture in honor of their anniversary in which she shared a cuddly mirror photo of the two of them.

She wrote in the caption section,

“Four years we’ve been together & it has gone so quick, yet feels like I’ve been with you my whole life. Me & Bonnie love you all the world @scottdobby #anniversary.”

Scarlett and Scott turned their friendship into a romantic relationship. The soon-to-be parent had known each other for more than 15 years before embarking on a romance.

Although they started dating in late 2018, they didn’t make their relationship public until March 2019. The couple experienced a brief separation over the year, but thankfully they quickly reconciled and rekindled their relationship.

In March 2021, “The British Tribe Next Door” star announced their separation via Instagram, writing,

“For anybody moving house, I think I speak on behalf of me and Scott, it’s very stressful. It is very stressful. I never thought it would be this stressful. I thought it would be fun. After the reconciliation, Scarlett expressed her desire to have children with Scott “one day” and suggested that she could also consider adopting a kid.

The TV personality hopes that even if they are not yet engaged, her partner would pop the question at some point and insist on proposing to her by Christmas so that it would be like a “Disney fairytale.”
