Scott Speedman and Lindsay Rae are an engaged couple now!

Scott Speedman and his girlfriend Lindsay Rae took a milestone step in their relationship. The Felicity star, 47, popped the question to his swimwear designer girlfriend after almost six years of dating.

On Tuesday, June 27, the soon-to-be bride took to Instagram to share the happy news that she accepted her boyfriend’s marriage proposal.

She shared a series of pictures from their special moment while simply captioning “Yes,” alongside an infinity emoji in the post. In the first photo of the series, Rae holds her hand on Speedman’s cheek while leaning her head down, hidden by her long hair.

Similarly, she faults her proposal ring in the photo while the Grey’s Anatomy actor had his eyes closed and a look of pure joy on his face.

Another photo shows the couple sharing a sweet kiss as they were standing outdoors on a hill, with breathtaking sea scenery.

She also included a black-and-white snapshot of herself in the final post, dressed in a red floral-print bra top as she held her hand up and showed off her glittering diamond ring.

The newly engaged couple began dating in 2017 and since they are living a good and healthy relationship.

They are also a parent to one and half years of daughter Pfeiffer Lucia.

In November 2021, the couple announced that they had welcomed their first child together a daughter named Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman.

Lindsay gave birth to her daughter in October 2021 delivered at home. At the time, Speedman shared a sweet photo of himself cuddled up next to his sleeping baby girl while captioning it,

“Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman. Born at home 10/26/21. In awe of my girl @lindsayraehofmann. Awe,”

Well, we are eagerly waiting for the upcoming wedding of the couple which Pfeiffer will also be attending.

What did Scott Speedman think of becoming a father for the first time?

In a 2021 interview with PEOPLE, Scott shared his experience of expecting his first baby with his girlfriend Lindsay Rae. He shared,

“I’m tremendously excited, I probably wasn’t ready as a younger guy, and now I’m ready to sort of give over to it. The timing just feels great. I’m aware that I don’t have to do the heavy lifting so I’m a coach and support team for my girl. We’re just trying to get everything ready.”

At the time of Pfeiffer’s birth, the actor is busy filming as he returned to Grey’s and also starring in season 3 of the creepy Netflix series You.

When asked about how he managed his busy schedule with his new fatherhood journey to which he said,

“We’ll see how it goes — work life while trying to be as present as possible with a kid. I have no idea what’s coming. But everybody says that having kids changes your life. And whatever that means, I’m excited to find out.”
