Selena Gomez begs fans to stop sending threats to model Hailey Bieber
Selena Gomez is requesting her fans to stop sending death threats to Justin Bieber‘s wife Hailey Bieber. It happened after the model reached out to Gomez about online hate she is receiving amid their ongoing feud.
On Friday, Selena, 30, wrote on her Instagram Stories,
“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,”
The actress added that “no one” should experience “hate or bullying” and she doesn’t “stand for” it.
The Only Murders in the Building star concluded with a heart emoji,
“I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop,”
Hailey also responded to Gomez’s kind words via her Instagram account, writing,
“The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful,”
Praising Selena, Bieber wrote,
“Her and I have been discussing the last few weeks how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I,”
Hailey has been receiving tons of hateful messages online ever since her online feud with the Wolves singer reappeared in February.
Fans called out Hailey and her BFF Kylie for shading Selena online
It all started when Hailey, 26, posted a since-deleted TikTok which seemingly shaded Gomez. That same month, Hailey and her BFF Kylie Jenner apparently made fun of Gomez’s eyebrows via Instagram.
Internet users blamed the model telling her she was trying to steal Selena’s life.
Gomez who recently became the world’s most followed woman on Instagram with more than 402 million followers on Instagram said that she was taking a break from social media.
But the Calm Down songstress made her return to social media and posted a video on TikTok saying she is looking for a guy to have a crush on.
In recent times, the Only Murders in the Building star was reportedly linked to Chainsmokers singer Drew Taggart.
The Same Old Love singer famously dated Justin Bieber on and off for nearly eight years. They ended their relationship for good in 2018.
Things went way too far when the sorry singer, 29, proposed to Hailey, marrying her that same year.
However, Baldwin denied having any bad blood for Gomez in September 2022 Call Her Daddy podcast episode. There she openly addressed criticisms she receives from Gomez’s fans.
Hailey said,
“I’m minding my business. I don’t do anything, I don’t say anything. Leave me alone, please,”
She also noted that she and the actress have made amends.
Both ladies broke the internet when they posed together for a photo together at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ second annual gala the next month.
