It’s over for Jason Oppenheim and Marie Lou Nurk just 10 months after dating.

The Selling Sunset star took to his Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that he and his model girlfriend have split.

He shared a photo of the two watching the sunset on Instagram and wrote,

“While we still love and care about each other very much the distance between us has proven to be too great a challenge to overcome,”

The real estate agent added,

“We remain close friends and continue to talk often and support each other and we want the very best for one another. We thank everyone for their support throughout our relationship.”

After living with her boyfriend in Los Angeles for some time, the 25-year-old model moved back to Paris.

The breakup was not a shock for the couple as Nurk recently explained that the CEO of Oppenheim Group knew that she would have to leave the States.

In an Instagram Q&A, Nurk said,

“The truth is, we both knew from the beginning that I would have to move back because of my job, friends, and family being here,”
“Long distance relationships can be tough, but we’re both committed to making it work. We make sure to communicate regularly and make time for each other despite the distance.”

The couple worked harder to make things work because they loved each other.

She added,

“I’m grateful to have such a supportive partner who understands my goals and passions. At the end of the day, it’s important to follow your heart and pursue your dreams, even if it means taking risks and facing challenges.”

Fans were shocked upon hearing the news of their split as Marie Lou Nurk and Jason Oppenheim recently moved in together in an $18 million mansion earlier this year.
