Shannen’s breast cancer journey
Shannen’s diagnosis of breast cancer came in 2015 in March. After therapy, in April 2017, Shannen had revealed that she has reached a remission of her disease. Her friends and fans were happy for her.
However, after two years, in 2019, her cancer came back. And this time, it was more aggressive. She also had spread of cancer cells to her other body cells and organs. She was in stage 4 with metastasis at that time. Shannen had revealed the sad news to the public in 2020.
Later, in June 2023, Shannen had disclosed that her cancer had spread to the brain and that she had surgical intervention to remove it in January 2023. And in November 2023, she told People:

“I’m just not — I’m not done.”
But Shannen continued to work with the disease. She said:
“People just assume that it means you can’t walk, you can’t eat, you can’t work. They put you out to pasture at a very early age —‘You’re done, you’re retired,’ and we’re not,”
“We’re vibrant, and we have such a different outlook on life. We are people who want to work and embrace life and keep moving forward.”
