What happened to Sienna Weir that led to her hospitalization?
On April 2, Sienna Weir went for a horse ride at Windsor Polo Grounds in Australia. Unfortunately, her horse fell off during the ride as a result she suffered multiple serious injuries.
Weir was sent to Westmead Hospital right away after her accident where she spent two days on life support. Sadly, she died after medical efforts failed to save her life.
The model was fond of horse riding. She had started riding when she was a young child. Weir discussed her experience riding in a 2022 interview with Gold Coast Magazine, revealing,
“My family aren’t quite sure where this passion came from but I’ve been horse-riding since I was three years old and can’t imagine my life without it.”
“I travel to rural Sydney 2-3 times a week to train and compete around New South Wales or broader Australia every other weekend.”
Besides, she was also passionate about English literature, namely poetry, and described it as an amazing way to connect with others.
