Actress Sofia Vergara, 51 is dating the orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Justin Saliman. Recently, she had some knee issues that required surgery. The nature of her knee problem is not clear. But she was happy and felt safe because the doctor operating on her was none other than her boyfriend, Justin.

Sofia happily revealed the news on her Instagram stories on 13 April 2024. She posted a photo of her operated knee with Justin, 50 standing besides her in blue scrubs with his hand on her knee. Sofia captioned this post:

“If u ever get a [major] knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night… ! Luv u,”

She also added an heart emoji and tagged the post to Justin.

Sofia also uploaded a photo of her resting on a couch with her knee protected in a knee brace. A small dog was sitting on her upper torso. She was in a dark magenta robe.

The couple’s relationship timeline

It was in October 2023 that paparazzi spotted Sofia and Justin together. This was three months after she divorced her husband of seven years, Joe Manganiello in July 2023. At that time, an insider told People magazine:

“She is enjoying life. She seems positive and full of energy,”
“Sofía has been handling the divorce well. It wasn’t an easy decision, but she is doing great now.”

The same year, Sofia started dating Joe Manganiello, 47. After six months of courtship, they engaged on 2014 Christmas Eve. The pair exchanged wedding vows on 21 November 2015 in Palm Beach, Florida. On 17 July 2023 came their statement on their separation. It read:

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,”

In January 2024, Sofia revealed to a news outlet the reason for their divorce that was finalized in February 2024:
