Sophie Llyod finally claps back at those who think she is the reason behind Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly‘s apparent breakup.

After days of keeping mum, the musician’s management team released a statement saying,

“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,”

They added,

“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”

Llyod, a British guitarist who gained fame from her YouTube channel, joined the Bloody Valentine hitmaker’s band in May 2022 during his Mainstream Sellout Tour.

Over the weekend, Sophie suddenly became the talk of the town when she was unnecessarily mixed into the drama between Kelly and his fiancee after performing at Sports Illustrated’s The Party in Scottsdale Ariz.

It all started when Megan hinted at her split with the rapper during Super Bowl 2023 weekend. The Transformers actress shared a strange post with a caption that made fans believe that the couple’s relationship was tearing apart.

Fox fueled the rumors by deleting MGK’s pictures and unfollowing him from her Instagram. She later deleted her Instagram.

The 36-year-old actress’s fans were quick to speculate that the Good Mourning star, 32, cheated on her. Some even put the blame on Llyod with one fan even asking Fox if she got with Sophie.

Megan replied, “Maybe I got with Sophie.”

Sophie celebrated Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend

The rock guitarist gracefully kept quiet during the tough time. On Valentine’s Day, however, she posted a photo with her boyfriend of five years, Christopher Painter.

It was enough to shut all the rumors of cheating down.

The lovebirds are extremely supportive of each other and constantly show their affection for one another on social media.

On 20 January, the duo celebrated their fifth anniversary together. Painter had a special message for his girlfriend, which he wrote,
