The Brazilian supermodel slammed rumors that she started dating Joaquim Valente before she divorced Tom Brady in October 2022, during an interview with the New York Times on Saturday.

When asked about the affair speculations, the mom of two replied, “That’s a lie.”

She added,

“This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,”

The 43-year-old continued,

“They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family,”

“Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

Bundchen noted,

“No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

Gisele and her kids’ jiu-jitsu trainer first became friends in December 2021. However, they reportedly started dating only in June 2023.

In February, a source revealed that the two are in love.

The two remained good friends before falling in love and were seen spending a lot of quality time with each other in Miami and Costa Rica at the start of 2022.

But a source close to Brady, 46, noted that the footballer doesn’t quite agree with the timeline they shared with the public. The insider said in February,

“If she wants to have people think she has been dating Joaquim only since June, so be it, but they have been together longer and they aren’t taking it slow. Tom has accepted it,”

“Tom and Joaquim are not friends — but Joaquim is around his kids, so Tom has to find the good in him and does believe he is a good guy,”

Gisele and Tom are parents to a son, Benjamin, 13, and a daughter, Vivian, 10. The former NFL quarterback is also dad to son, John “Jack” Edward, with ex Bridget Moynahan.

Just last year, Gisele said that she and Jo were just friends and were not dating.

She told Vanity Fair in March 2023,

“He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy,”

Now, it seems she is a little more comfortable sharing about her love life. She confirmed to the outlet that she is seeing someone.

Without revealing Valente’s name, she said,
