South Korean actress, Han So Hee and her actor boyfriend, Ryu Jun Yeol have broken up. They were on the film project Delusion and were to shoot for it. But it is now learned that after their split, they have withdrawn their names from the project. The two do not want to be co-stars in the film and have walked out of the project.

The news outlet, Korea JoongAng Daily, has published a report that reveals that the production company for the film, Showbox confirmed to them that they are no more negotiating a deal with the two casts. The drama is an adaptation of a story on webtoon that goes by the same title.

The short love story of the couple

Actor Ryu, 38 was dating actress-singer Lee Hyeri, 29. Theirs was a long-term relationship but they split a few months back after eight years of courtship. It was in November 2023 that reports emerged that the two have split. Their respective management agencies stated that the separation was amicable and they continue to be supportive friends and great coworkers for each other.

And in the second week of March 2024, Han and Ryu were spotted on a date in Hawaii. After this, Han, 30 confirmed that she and Ryu are in a relationship. However, after this relationship confirmation, people accused Han of having interfered with Ryu’s past relationship and led to his split from Lee. They believed that Han had seduced Ryu and made him breakup with Lee. Due to these accusations, Han returned to Seoul from Hawaii alone. Also, Ryu changed his flight plans and was back in Seoul but in a different flight.

Han put up an official defense statement to say that Lee and Ryu already had separated in June 2023. But people did not believe her. And after just two weeks of confirmation of her relationship with Ryu, the two have now split. On 29 March 2024, Han also posted a statement on her social media to tell Lee that she had no role in her split from Ryu. Later, Han deleted that post.

Han is a beautiful and talented newcomer to the South Korean film industry. She has a close resemblance to the famous actress Song Hye Kyo. Han rose to fame when she starred in 2020 in the South Korean television series The World of the Married. She has carved a niche for herself in the film industry through her hard work and talent. Her current project is the second season of Gyeongseong Creature on Netflix. The series is an amalgamation of history and thrill.

On the other hand, Ryu shot to fame when he featured in the South Korean TV series titled Reply 1988. Ryu continues to get and do good film projects and is also an entrepreneur now. He is now focusing on his acting for the film Book of Revelation. The celebrated director of Train to Busan, Yeon Sang Ho is also directing this film.
