Emily Wickersham’s childhood

Emily Wickersham was born Emily Kaiser Wickersham in Kansas, the United States of America on April 26, 1984. Her father is John Atwood Wickersham and her mother is Amy Wickersham.

Emily is the youngest of the family’s children. She has an older brother Adam Wickersham. Her father worked as a mechanic and her mother was a homemaker.

Emily grew up in Mamaroneck, New York. She is of Austrian and Swedish ancestry.

She attended Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States. But after 2 years in college, she dropped out and took classes on public speaking to pursue and further her career in acting.

Emily’s Television series

In the year 2006, Emily started her career. She made her first television appearance in David Letterman’s late-night television talk show ‘Late Show with David Letterman’.

In 2006, she starred in Parco P.I. a Grace Carr. Since then she had landed various roles in series such as The Sopranos, The Bronx Is Burning, The Gamekillers, Mitch Albom’s For One More Day, Taking Chance, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Bored to Death, Trauma, The Bridge, and Gossip Girl. Her breakthrough role was in NCIS.

In NCIS

NCIS is a police drama series and one of the longest-running scripted Primetime TV series.

In 2013, actress Cote de Pablo departed from the show. This was a lucky break for Emily. Further, she was cast as NSA Analyst Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop in a three-episode arc on NCIS. The show started to air on November 19, 2013, on CBS.

Seeing her performance, she was promoted to regular series. She has also made several guest appearances on television.

Is Emily Wickersham married?

Emily tied the knot to Blake Hanley on November 23, 2010, on Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys. Blake is a musician.

Around 150 family members and friends attended the private ceremony. The guests were held a wedding party 4 days later at the Bath and Tennis Club.
