Filipina actress cum singer, Sunshine Cruz wished her boyfriend birthday wishes online. Ismael ‘Macky’ Mathay turned 41 this month. Sunshine on last Friday 9 October 2020 posted a birthday tribute for her beau. It was not a photo but a video of her singing the OPM classic called Bakit Ba Ganyan? by Dina Bonnevie. She said that it is her simple gift for her boyfriend.

Underneath the uploaded video, Sunshine wrote:

“Sorry I can’t be with you today but we will celebrate soon! I prepared a simple gift for you. I know you love this song and gusto mong kantahin ko ito that is why inaral ko especially for you. Sana magustuhan mo,”

Further, the devoted girlfriend wrote:

“Know that you are loved and appreciated. I am truly blessed to have someone like you in my life,”

The relationship of the couple-Sunshine and Ismael

The couple has been dating now for over four years. In 2016, Ismael and Sunshine were photographed holding hands together in a public place. They met online on social media. Ismael confirmed that he started dating the actress after she replied to his Instagram messages. Additionally, revealing details of their courtship start, Ismael had said that it was he who first admitted his love to Sunshine. Last month, the couple celebrated their four years of togetherness.

Ismael has also revealed that he loved Sunshine even before he spoke to her. She was his celebrity crush. And he is very happy being able to convert his crush into his lady love. Ismael is the half-brother of Sunshine’s friend, Ara Mina. In an interview, Sunshine had admitted that she is very happy with Ismael.
