Tyler Posey is the son of actor-writer, John Posey. He started as a child artist in films and TV. He played the character of Raul Garcia in series Doc that was on TV from 2001 to 2004. And, Tyler also portrayed Ty Ventura in Maid in Manhattan in 2002.

Later, his popular role in adulthood was that of Scott McCall in Teen Wolf, a series on MTV from 2011 to 2017. He is also a voice actor. Tyler also was with the band Lost in Kostko that came up in 2009. He has several awards and nominations to his credit.

Tyler was in love with makeup artist, Seana Gorlick since his childhood days. The relationship was for ten years after which in 2013, the couple got engaged. But three months after the proposal, the engagement was called off. An insider revealed the reason to Hollywood Life:

“Tyler sees that his career is at a certain peak. If he were to settle down in his real life, it would turn into slowing down things down in his career,”

Tyler’s second engagement

Last month, the actor revealed that he is engaged to Phem. It was during a beach walk. He told People magazine:

“We got engaged in Cambria, California. Phem’s favorite place,”
“We spend every Valentine’s Day there so it only felt perfect to do it there,“

Further, Phem said:

“It was just us alone on the beach. I should’ve known when he propped his phone up on a rock to film that something was up… but I had no idea.”

The wedding date and venue

The couple’s plan is to wed in October this year. The arrangements are almost complete. Talking about it, Tyler said:

“We’re keeping it close to home and getting married at a very special place that means a lot to us,”
“We want a fairly intimate wedding. Or at least the ceremony but the reception will be the dance party everyone can join.”

And Phem went on to say:
