Vitinha akaVítor Machado Ferreira is a well-known Portuguese professional football player. Currently, he plays for the Portugal national team and the Ligue 1 club, Paris Saint-Germain as a midfielder.

Initially, he played for the Desportivo das Aves and played for the club, Póvoa de Lanhoso. On 11 August 2019, he made his Liga Pro debut against Sporting da Covilha. He also played in the 2018-19 UEFA Youth League.

Afterward, he was loaned to the English Premier League club, Wolverhampton Wanderers on 9 September 2020.

Furthermore, he was benched at the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship at the start of his 2021-22 season.  All total he played 47 matches, and was also named the Primeira Liga Best Young Player of the Year.

Making his youth career debut, he was part of the 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, in Armenia

Then, he was part of the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

Coach, Fernando Santo called him for the senior squad for the 2022 World Cup qualification play-off on 21 March 2022, as a substitute player for Rúben Dias.

Thereafter, he was called up in Portugal’s preliminary 55-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar.

During the opening match at 947 Stadium Qatar, Portugal beat Ghana by 3-2 on November 24, Thursday, 2022 at FIFA World Cup 2022.

With a strong ongoing match, Portugal won over Uruguay by 2-0, on November 28, 2022, at Lusail Stadium, Qatar.

Recently, On December 2, 2022, Portugal played against South Korea at Education City Stadium and lost the match by 2-1 in the end.

Though Portugal lost in the end, it has been able to keep its place in round 16.

On December 7, 2022, Portugal lost against Croatia by 0-1 and was out of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
