Human beings have many superstitions in their life and their workplace. Some are harmful and some are harmless. Benefits doubtful! Athletes and celebrities are also not spared from these superstitious beliefs and rituals.
They are more a slave to it since for them, wins are the main thing and they have to remain in fame once they have tasted it and known its benefits. Despite their great physique and talent, some of them have the weirdest superstitions and beliefs in the world. Let us take a peep into these and know them!
Kevin Rhomberg
Kevin Rhomberg had this weird superstition that whenever someone touches him, he has to touch them back. Those who were close to him and knew about this superstitious habit would use it to make fun of him.
They would touch him and run off to the clubhouse and Kevin would spend hours together trying to find them and touch them back. If he was unable to touch them back, he would write a letter to them which would read:
“This constitutes a touch.”
Former Major League player Rick Sutcliffe once touched him from under the bathroom stall, and Kevin touched everyone in the clubhouse to be sure that he has touched the real culprit.
The curse on Chicago Cubs
The baseball team Chicago Cubs last won a World Series in 1908 and the last time they were in a Championship series was in 1945. They attribute this to The Curse of the Billy Goat. So what is it?
It seems that Bill Slanis was on the team. He also owned the Billy Goat Tavern. He had brought once his smelly goat to the game. For this, he was punished and kicked out of Game 4. Bill was furious and he cursed the team. This curse, they say, remains today and all people and the team’s fans are wondering when it would end!
Larry Walker and the number 3
Larry was found of the number 3. He would put an alarm for 33 minutes past the hour that he wanted to get up. He would practice in groups of three swings for baseball. Larry was so particular to have the number 3 in his marriage as well. His wedding took place on 3 November at 3.33 pm.
When he was in Montreal, he purchased 33 tickets and donated them to the underprivileged kids so that they could have some fun watching the match. They were all seated in section 333. In one of his contracts, Larry had put a demand for $ 3333333.33.

Jason Terry and his enemy pant love
One of the weirdest superstitions was held by basketball player Jason Terry. He was one of the most consistent players and used to score as a point guard in the game for the team Dallas Mavericks. So that he never loses the game, Jason had this superstition. Before the game on that night, he would sleep in the shorts of the person who would be his opponent the next day.
One wonders how he managed to get the shorts of the opponent. It is said that he managed to procure the actual shorts of every team member of the NBA! Whenever a team gets a new uniform, Jason would get new shorts! Incredible!
