On the occasion of the 12th Anniversary on Sunday, January 7, Pink posted a funny message for her husband on her Instagram account.

She shared a photo collage of the collection of her and her husband’s snap with the caption:

“12 years married today. 16 if ya count the 4 years we spent deciding if we were going to live together forever or kill each other. It’s been a nice mix of that ever since. Get em’ young and train em’ ladies. I still have a crush on you @hartluck.”

Today this beautiful woman and i celebrate 12 years being married. What a crazy ride baby!!!! Can’t say there is a single person on this planet I’d rather spend my time with than you. We have built an amazing family, and life together. Who would have thought two misfits like us could have done such a great job. The duo started dating each other in 2002 and tied the knot in 2006 in Costa Rica. But after two years they decided to part ways with each other. After the counseling and trying marriage, the couple again decided to reunite in 2010.

They welcomed their first daughter Willow the same year. The duo is also blessed with a 12-month-old son Jameson. In October 2017, Pink opened up to Guardian about her relationship with her husband Carey. She stated:

“There are moments where I look at [Hart] and he is the most thoughtful, logical, constant … he’s like a rock. He’s a good man. He’s a good dad. He’s just the kind of dad I thought he’d be and then some. And then I’ll look at him and go: I’ve never liked you. There’s nothing I like about you. We have nothing in common. I don’t like any of the s–t you like. I don’t ever wanna see you again.”

During the 12 years of long married life, Pink and Carey have gone through lots of struggles. They have always been open about the ups and downs of their married life.

The singing star admitted that she has times when she has believed her husband is a rock and they also have to work to keep their relationship romance monogamous.

Furthermore, she stated:

“There are moments where I look at [Carey] and he is the most thoughtful, logical, constant … he’s like a rock. And then I’ll look at him and go: I don’t ever wanna see you again. Then you’ll go through times when you haven’t had sex in a year. Is this bed death? Is this the end of it? Do I want him? Does he want me? Monogamy is work! But you do the work and it’s good again.”

This is not the first time, she has talked about her marital life with her husband. Previously, she made a statement that she used to hand her wedding ring back to him ‘every night’ when they were going through a rough spot. And recently, she spoke about how she is making things better.

Moreover, she admitted:

“We have learnt the art of communication. I don’t hand my wedding ring back every night like I used to. Because that’s just dumb and I can’t actually get it off.”

According to Pink, the art of communication is the best way to handle the relationship in the right way.
