She has not mentioned anything about Reese
It’s unclear when Kara and her previous fiancé Reese decided to end their relationship. Since their appearance on the show, they went completely out of the spotlight. Their relationship ended sometime after the show.
It’s not surprising that she hasn’t mentioned or posted anything about her appearance on Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta, given her current situation.
She was 17 when she appeared in ‘Say Yes to the Dress’
Kara Cosby was 17 when she appeared on Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta. Once she confirmed her age to bridal dress consultant Flo Waters, fashion director Monte Durham was left confused as to what to do next. He said:
“She doesn’t even look like she could get a driver’s license.”

Kara Cosby became a topic of interest after a TikTok of her episode went viral
It’s nothing new for people to be interested in updates on former Say Yes to the Dress clients. However, the interest in Cosby’s story was made viral again after Aimee La Joie created a TikTok video in a creative way that referenced her episode.
Although the names used in the video were different, it was obvious that the video was about her episode. In the video, Aimee played the role of Faith, a 17-year-old bride-to-be who was searching for a “church-friendly” dress.
Other characters in the video included Faith’s mother, the wedding consultant, and her father who seemed to be controlling and made similar comments to those made by Jason during the episode.
La Joie later confirmed in the comments section that the video was based on Kara’s episode and called it “the most horrifying episode” she had ever seen.
She has maintained a good relationship with her dad
Kara’s dad, Jason Cospy made comments that many YouTube commenters deemed inappropriate. Specifically, he referred to his daughter as a “30-year-old trapped in a 17-year-old’s body” in an episode of the show.
However, despite this, the father-daughter duo now have a closer relationship and even work together. Her dad is the owner of Reclamation Roasters, which is in partnership with AWAKE Communities Int.
