Another photo featured the couple’s first kiss during their wedding ceremony. In her touching message, Danica reminisced about their intimate sunrise ceremony held in Kauai, where they exchanged vows surrounded by just 20 close friends and family members.

“Exactly 10 years ago, we said, ‘I do!’, November 15, 2014, just before 6:30am, we held a small, sunrise ceremony on a secluded beach in Kauai – only 20 people, including us.”

Additionally, McKellar fondly recalled the “golden glow” on her husband’s face as she walked down the aisle and expressed her feelings about their journey together by stating,

“Ten years [have] flown by, and I feel like the luckiest woman on the planet, Happy 10 year anniversary, my love!”

The couple’s celebrations began earlier in October when Danica celebrated the anniversary of their first date.

She shared several photos on Instagram from that special day and described how meeting Scott on a blind date set up by mutual friends changed her life forever. Her caption began,

“Exactly 11 years ago today, Oct 16, 2013, my life changed forever when I met Scott on a blind date, set up via mutual friends. And BTW, we pretty much instantly knew that day we’d found our forever. A year later, they had an intimate wedding ceremony in Kauai, Hawaii, in November 2014. Before marrying Sveslosky, Danica was married to composer Mike Verta from 2009 to 2012.

They share a son named Draco, who is now 13 years old. Additionally, Sveslosky also has a child, a son named Hunter from his previous marriage.
