After Aaron Carter died mysteriously at his California Home on Saturday, his on/off fiance Melanie Martin cried outside the singer’s home in California.

Photographs show the 30-year-old model sitting between a man and a woman who was comforting her as she wiped away tears.

Martin posted a TikTok video of herself crying in her car, just moments before Carter’s death became public.

After that, the mother of one took to her Instagram to share a story photo of the couple sharing a smooch and captioned it:

“I can’t breathe.”

Later, she also shared a statement regarding her partner’s death. The statement read:

”We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.”

The couple first started dating in early 2020.

Just two months after dating, the Aaron’s Party singer got his partner’s first name inked above his right eyebrow.

But the couple went through ups and downs and after many breakups and reunions, Aaron popped the question in June 2020. It was after Martin was arrested for felony domestic violence. She was later released on a $50,000 bond.

Melanie and Aaron’s abusive relationship

Just five months after their engagement, the duo welcomed their first child together, a son named Prince. But having a baby did not solve all their problems.

Just Days later, the actor claimed on Instagram that he was trapped inside his bedroom because his fiancee refused to leave his house.

The former child actor also earlier revealed that the reason why the two called it quits was that Martin allegedly communicated with his estranged twin sister, Angel Carter.

In a tweet, Carter wrote:

“My sister communicating w my ex-fiancé ruined everything considering she knew what angel tried to do to me in court,”

In yet another tweet, Aaron wrote:

“She knew my boundaries and especially not to speak to a certain half of my family that tried to depict me as a crazy psychotic human being and a pedophile.”

The two then reunited only to go separate ways after Martin accused Carter of breaking her three ribs in a domestic fight.

Last September, Aaron revealed that Martin’s mother received temporary custody of Prince due to the pair’s continuous domestic violence and drug concerns. Later, he entered a voluntary rehab program hoping to win his son’s custody back.
