American actor Lillo Brancato is not just known for his versatile acting skills but also for the multiple crimes and consequences he suffered for his wrongdoings.

Crimes and Consequences

The Yonkers Police Department in New York arrested Brancato for Heroin possession on 10 June 2005. After facing the consequences, he was released.

He caught himself in a huge mess the next time. On 10 December 2005, the New York Police Department in the Bronx caught him for robbery and murdering off-duty police officer Daniel Enchautegui.

Enchautegui served the New York City Police Department for three years and was assigned to the Bronx’s 40th Precinct.

Enchautegui stood up to Brancato and his accessory, 48-year-old Steven Armento, outside an empty house situated at 3119 Arnow Place, alongside his own, in the wake of hearing a glass break.

Similarly, Enchautegui waited for backup and got involved in a gunfight, leading to his shooting. He later died at the Jacobi Medical Center.

Authorities charged Steven Armento with first-degree murder and sentenced him to life without parole. Armento was the father of Brancato’s girlfriend, Stefanie Armento.

Brancato faced second-degree murder charges but only received a guilty verdict for first-degree burglary. On 9 January 2009, Judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison.

He became state prisoner #09A0227 in the Oneida Correctional Facility in Rome, New York. Later, he moved to the Hudson Correctional Facility and was discharged on parole on December 31, 2013.

After onwards, he again began his acting career.

Personal life

Versatile actor Lillo Brancato was born in Bogota, Colombia on 30th March 1976. Italian-American parents Lillo Sr. and Domenica adopted and raised him when he was four months old.

He was in a romantic relationship with Chanel Capra since 1993 but their relationship couldn’t last for long and they eventually broke up in 1994.

After onwards, he was in a relationship with Stefanie Armento in 2003 which also didn’t last long and ended in 2005.

He had twin daughters in March 2016.

Brancato started his career journey when he was 18 years old, acting in the movie “A Bronx Tale” as the main lead. Some reporters claimed that he earned $25ooo for his role in his debut movie.

His career started to blossom with the role and he was getting his name and fame, known to the world for his impressive acting skills.

Giving priority to acting, he has done numerous movies including “Renaissance Man”, “In the Shadows”, “The Real Deal”, “Downtown: A Street Tale”, “Saturday Morning” and much more.
