Adam Driver is fond of his daughter

Adam Driver can not stop gushing over his baby girl, whom the actor and his wife secretly welcomed earlier this year.

During his appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark on Wednesday, he joked,

“She’s 8 months [old], and you kind of forget how much babies kinda suck,”

He also noted that his daughter “likes [him] more” than his 6-year-old son did.

The Star Wars star, who shares two kids with his wife Joanne Tucker, said,

“He didn’t want anything to do with me for the first three years,”

Co-host Mark Consuelos asked the actor, 40, whether he was getting any sleep with a new baby at home.

He admitted, “Not a lot, not a lot, not a lot.”

Driver also said that he remembers to savor every moment of this time. He said,

“The first time, it went too fast. I was so anxious for [my son] to kind of develop so he could communicate and tell me what was wrong,”
“And now, I’m more patient with [my daughter]. I’m trying to enjoy it more.”

The actor announced the arrival of the actor and his wife’s second kid during a Saturday Night Live dress rehearsal earlier this month.

In his practice opening monologue ahead of his fourth time hosting the comedy show, Adam said,

“Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting,”
“So this year, I wish for Ambien!”

Tucker and Driver’s first child, relationship and marriage

It was February when it was announced that Driver and Tucker, 41, were expecting another baby.

The House of Gucci star and his then-expectant wife were seen unloading their car in front of their NYC apartment after grocery shopping.

The Report actress was seen with her baby bump and they were also seen carrying a baby-inclined bather.

The pair are very private when it comes to their family life. On November 18, Page Six reported that the two had secretly welcomed a baby boy two years prior.

Talking about their relationship, the couple first met at The Juilliard School in the early 2000s and married in a secret destination wedding in June 2013.
