Actress Allyssa Brooke’s son Nick was attacked on his school’s basketball court

Allyssa Brooke is furious after her son Nick was attacked on his school’s basketball court. H was rushed to the ER after the high school basketball game.

He was attacked on his school’s basketball court while a group of kids just stood and laughed. In the shared video clip from the scene, he was seen dribbling toward the basket when he was shoved to the ground by his opposition.

After the attack, he attempted to stand and confront his aggressor but was punched in the face. He suffered a broken jaw in 3 places, a severe concussion, and whiplash.

When he was taken to the hospital, doctors found a basketball-sized lump on the back of his head which raised concerns of internal bleeding.

His mother Allyssa said,

“I spent Nick’s 17th birthday feeding him liquids through a syringe because his jaw’s been wired shut for 6 weeks.”

Allyssa Brooke also has words for people who stand there watching him getting attacked and laugh while he suffers,

“I don’t expect everybody to be a hero and run in to save the day if that’s not your style. But, to laugh and applaud, and cheer, that’s not humanity.”

What does Allyssa Brooke have to say about the attack?

Allyssa Brooke has also created a Change.org petition against those who filmed the incident as well as the educational system which did not support them.

Likewise, she called for a ‘Code of Ethics for students who are attending public schools after suffering the emotional turmoil of learning her son needed to be rushed to the ER.

Allyssa added,

“Watching the video playback of my son’s assault is something that will forever be etched into my mind. My son’s head had been slammed onto the hardwood floor so hard that it bounced. He had been punched to the point of unconsciousness and hit his head against a concrete wall as he collapsed on the ground. It is both horrific and heartbreaking,”

Her son has claustrophobia which made the situation worse as he was forced to breathe through nostrils that are inflamed as a result of surgical intubation. A GoFundMe page has been set up for Nick to pay his medical bills and the amount has exceeded $50,000.
