Newly engaged couple in town! Alyssa Thomas took a milestone step in her relationship with DeWanna Bonner.

The couple shared the happy news in a joint Instagram post announcing their engagement news to the world.

Alyssa Thomas shared a photo of herself down on one knee, proposing to DeWanna, who gripped her face in excitement, with an engagement ring. Similarly, she simply captioned the post,

“FOREVER,”

The proposal news comes two years after the pair went public with their relationship.

Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner began dating in the year 2020 after the 35-year-old Fairfield native was traded from Phoenix to Connecticut.

The two instantly connected with each other during the WNBA bubble in the midst of COVID lockdowns.

However, the couple didn’t go public with their relationship until the 2021 Valentine’s Day. After dating for almost three years, the pair finally got engagement.

The newly engaged couple both were selected to represent Connecticut in Las Vegas last weekend for the 2023 All-Star Game.
