Anneliese Van der Pol is now engaged. The That’s So Raven star, 39, has taken the next step in her relationship with her boyfriend Johnno Wilson.

Johnno popped the question to Van der Pol on Christmas Day. He left fans shocked after announcing their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, December 27.

He shared a series of photos from their special moment including the one in which Johnno getting down on one knee in front of the Michael Try star with a ring box in his hand.

The slideshow features the couple embracing with a hug and as per Anneliese expression in the photos, the engagement truly took her by surprise.

He also posted a close-up shot of the engagement ring as the actress held onto a wine glass as she showed off the sparkly, square-cut diamond on her finger.

Wilson then captioned the post,

“Thank you @disney for introducing me to my TV ex-spouse and real life fiancé,”

Well, if you don’t know Anneliese and Johnno are co-stars from the That’s So Raven spin-off Raven’s Home together. The two portray a divorced couple, who share a son named Levi.

As soon as the couple announced their engagement many were quick to flood the comment section with congratulatory messages.

How long have Anneliese Van der Pol and Johnno Wilson been together?

The proposal comes nearly four years after Anneliese and Johnno began dating. In early 2017, the couple first met on the set of Raven’s Home.

In an October episode of Anneliese’s podcast with Christy Big Name B*tches, Johnno recalled their first meeting revealing he hadn’t seen much of her original series That’s So Raven.

“I think it was probably a good thing that I didn’t really watch That’s So Raven growing up, I think I was a little too old. I had just missed it, which was good because then I was not as nervous to talk to her on set. And immediately, we just hit it off.”

Similarly, the actor admitted that he had been dating someone else at the time. Well, it’s been confirmed that they didn’t start to date while they were filming.

In October 2017, the two then reconnected at Raven’s Home season 1 wrap party when Wilson had already broken up with his previous girlfriend.

Three years later, the pair went Instagram official with their relationship in March 2020. The couple since enjoying their romantic courtship.
