Ariana Grande and her husband Dalton Gomez have called it quits and are heading for a divorce.

The split rumors came after the Bang Bang songstress deleted all of her romantic photos of her May 2021 wedding from Instagram.

A source close to the couple who went separate ways in January 2023 said,

”Ariana and Dalton have nothing but respect for one another. They’re still friends and want to remain that way moving forward. There was no cheating, no resentment between them, the marriage just simply didn’t work out. These things happen.”

A spokesperson for Grande also confirmed the sad news.

Over the weekend, Ariana, 30, attended Wimbledon without her wedding ring and has not been wearing her ring for some time now.

The insider also claimed that the two did their best to make their marriage work but failed in doing so.

Gomez also reportedly flew to London in January on the set of Wicked to meet his wife to put effort into saving their marriage. However, it didn’t help at all.

A source close to Us Weekly said, ‘Ariana and Dalton have been having some issues for months now,’

In 2021, Ariana and the luxury realtor tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at her $6.75 million Montecito home.

The Love Me Harder singer is busy filming her musical Wicked across the UK since December 2022.

The source further noted that the couple started having issues even before she started filming.

Despite splitting, the singer and realtor still talk on the phone and remain good friends.

The US Weekly revealed,

”They were having issues before she left for Wicked filming [in London] that they couldn’t resolve, and the distance did not help. They haven’t been speaking and are speaking, and a divorce is likely.”

Page Six also reported that the couple was having problems and decided to end their relationship mutually but wanted to remain close.

The actress and Gomez started dating in January 2020. They made their romance official with her music video Stuck With You, a duet with Justin Bieber.

At their mid-May 2021 wedding, there were just 20 guests and both her parents walked her down the aisle.

In May 2023, the couple celebrated their two-year anniversary with Ariana sharing a photo from their wedding day.
