Asya Branch is newly crowned Miss USA 2020. Branch is the first All-American woman to win the title of Miss Mississippi USA.

Also, she comes from a large family as she is the sixth child to her parents among eight siblings.

Asya faced a terrible incident in her childhood as her father got arrested at their home on the charge of kidnapping and armed robbery.

Her journey to the beauty pageant started in 2018. The year, she signed up for the scholarship pageant, Miss Mississippi 2018.

The year, she held the title of Miss Mississippi. As Miss Mississippi, she has talked about criminal justice reform.

Also, she began the program, Finding Your Way as an initiative to empower Incarcerated parents. Also, she has met the 45th president, Donald Trump, and had part in a roundtable discussion on criminal justice.

In 2019, she went for Miss American 2019. In the beauty pageant, she remained unplaced. However, she became the 2nd runner-up for the Quality of Life awards.

Moving forward, she participated in the beauty pageant, Miss Mississippi USA 2020. She was crowned as Miss Mississippi USA and became the first All-American woman ever to hold the title. After that, she ran into Miss USA in 2020 and won the title of Miss USA.

As the Miss USA 2020, she will be representing the national Miss Universe 2020.
