The model recently confessed she secretly tied the knot to her fiance Brian Mailian a year ago.

Beverly Johnson and Brian Mailian have already taken a milestone step in their relationship.

The supermodel, 71, disclosed the shocking status of her current relationship with her fiance during an interview on Sirius XM’s “Sway in the Morning”.

On the radio program, Johnson disclosed that she and Brian had secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas on her 71st birthday last year.

“Two days before my birthday, Oct. 13, [Brian] kept saying, ‘What do you want for your birthday?’ I sat up in the bed on Oct. 11 and said, ‘I know what I want for my birthday. … I want to get married.'”

She continued,

“He went, ‘Okay’. And I went, ‘Did he say okay? Oh S—.'”

On October 13, 2023, the pair said “I do” in a private Las Vegas ceremony.

Beverly then stated that they married at the “right time,” despite Mailian’s desire for a big wedding attended by over 1,5000 people.

Similarly, the model disclosed that her best friends helped plan every part of their wedding, including locating the chapel, which she described as “really beautiful.”

She also talked about how her life changed after the wedding. The new bride shared,

“It’s most certainly on the spiritual level, each day and moment becomes so precious and those moments with your grandchildren, everything becomes like awe.”

Beverly Johnson has earlier married twice

Beverly has married thrice so far. She was first married to real estate agent Billy Potter. The former couple married for four months from 1971 to 1975.

Two years later, she married music producer Danny Sims. The former couple also shared a 45-year-old daughter named Anansa.

Similar to her previous marriage, Johnson’s marriage to Danny didn’t last long and ended in divorce in 1979.

Following her two failed marriages, the model stated that have “never” wanted to be married again, but after meeting Mailian, her perspective on marriage completely changed.

She said on her recent podcast,

“It’s so profound because it’s on a totally different level, Most certainly on a spiritual level as we get closer to our God — whoever that may be — and each day and moment becomes so precious.”
