A few months after getting married in a private wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are ready for a baby.
They are expecting their first child together.
Bindi announced the news of the pregnancy on 11th August 2020.

Chandler posted a picture of them in their Wildlife Warrior costume holding an adorable small warrior shirt. He wrote,

“We’re going to be parents!! We have a baby Wildlife Warrior on the way coming in 2021. Becoming a dad is the highlight of my life. I cannot wait to embark on this new adventure and life chapter with my gorgeous wife, @bindisueirwin.”

Similarly, Bindi also shared the same post and wrote,

“Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you,”

Also, she asked her followers to give the young parents the best advice for their baby and sent good vibes & prayers. Bindi’s brother shared his happiness for being an uncle and adding a new member to their family.

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s relationship

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell dated for six years before the two finally tied the knot on 25th March 2020. They met at Bindi’s zoo and she took Powell’s family for a tour.

They were attracted to each other immediately. Chandler proposed her on her 21st birthday.

Powell shared,

“She said YES! Almost 6 years ago we met at Australia Zoo. I immediately fell head over heels for her kind and thoughtful heart that radiates so much light.”

They walked down the aisle in a small ceremony at the Australia Zoo in March. Their wedding was only attended by Irwin’s mother, brother, and her father’s best friend Wes Mannion.

Chandler Powell was born on 14th November 1996 in Seffner, Florida, United States. He is 23 years old at present. Powell graduated from the University of Central Florida with a marketing degree.

He is confused of being Australian but he is actually American who relocated to Australia to live with the Irwin family.

2) Wakeboarder:

Chandler has been wakeboarding since he was a child. He discovered the love for wakeboarding at a young age of 3. At the age of 15, he started wakeboarding in professional competition and earned many sponsorships during the time. Talking about Plastic Playground Wake Park Championship, he said,

“I’ve been pumped to be working on some new tricks in Orlando just in time for Plastic Playground at Liquid Leisure in the UK later this month. It’s one of the year’s biggest competition, drawing pro men and pro women riders from around the world, as well as top amateur riders who compete just to enter.”

Even though he has not competed in wakeboarding since 2016, he goes diving off of waterfalls. Powell’s father Chris was also a professional athlete when he was younger.

Being a wakeboarder, he has traveled the world for his competitions. He has visited places like Abu Dhabi, Thailand, the Philippines, China, and Texas. Also, he has been to the South of France, Venice, Rome, and Singapore.

Living with the wildlife, Chandler enjoys being a Wildlife Warrior. He used to be a Crocodile hunter fan when he was small. He is not afraid of dangerous animals. Bindi revealed,
