Brandon Jenner reveals that he met his father, Caitlyn Jenner just six times from 8-25 years of his life!

Brandon Jenner is the son of Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) with Linda Thompson.
But Caitlyn and Linda, divorced in 1986 and Caitlyn then married Kris Kardashian.
Brandon revealed that he has a distant and complicated relationship with his father, Caitlyn.
He stated that between the ages of 8 to 25 years, he saw his father the then-Bruce only six times.

The son of Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) with Linda Thompson, Brandon Jenner revealed that after his father married Kris Kardashian (now, Kris Jenner), Brandon saw very little of him. Brandon, 40 said:

‘I didn’t see my father more than half a dozen times between the ages eight and 25,’

The musician talked about this in his new book called To Me, He was just Dad. He adds in it:

‘After Dad met and married Kris [Kardashian in 1991], family became a business for [her], and I stayed away for most of my teenage years. I didn’t want to be a part of their dynamic. I know now, though, that Dad was pretty unhappy in that house and felt like [she] wasn’t treated well.’

Was there any real bonding between father and son?

The son feels that even the six times that he met his father, there was, no real bonding that took place between the two. Brandon continued:

“Sadly the infrequent exchanges felt more like staged photo opportunities than real bonding. In fact, they were stage photo ops for “family” Christmas cards.”

He also recalled the time when Caitlyn forced little Brandon to pay for his $250 bicycle even though Brandon was only 8 years old at that time and not earning yet.

Was does Brandon feel about Caitlyn’s gender reassignment surgery?

In 2015, Bruce spoke about his gender transformation, and then came the gender reassignment surgery to become Caitlyn Jenner. Brandon feels that his father should have changed his sex earlier. In the chapter called My Father, the Decathlete Brandon wrote about the timing of the surgery:

‘Not only because I think she would have been happier but because I think we could have built a stronger relationship earlier,’

This Easter Sunday Brandon was at his Malibu home. Along with him was his mother Linda, 69, his new and second wife Cayley Stoker, and their fraternal twin sons Bo Thompson and Sam Stoker, who arrived on 19 February 2020. Cayley and Brandon wed on 21 January this year. Also present on the occasion with him was his daughter Eva James, 4 with his first wife Leah Felder. He was married to Leah for 14 years.
