Britney Spears finally breaks silence after her husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce just a year after their wedding, The pop star, 41, took to Instagram on Friday night saying that their divorce is nobody’s business.

Sharing a video of herself dancing, Spears wrote,

“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked,”
“I’m not here to explain why because it’s honestly nobody’s business !!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!!”
“In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!!”

The One More Time hitmaker said that she has been acting strong for a long time and revealed that her social media shows a life that is far from reality.

Spears added,

“I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but (for) some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses,”

The pop princess added that if she “wasn’t my dad’s strong soldier, I would be sent away to places to get fixed by doctors.”

“But that’s when I needed family the most !!! You’re supposed to be loved unconditionally … not under conditions !!!!”

Britney concluded the post by telling her fans that she will be “as strong as I can and do my best !!! And I’m doing pretty damn good !!! Anyway, have a good day, and don’t forget to smile !!!”

Sam demands spousal support and other benefits from Britney Spears

Britney’s much-awaited response comes just a day after Asghari, 29, broke his silence on the breakdown of their marriage.

He wrote on Instagram on Thursday,

“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,”
“We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always,”

The divorce filing was as messy as one could imagine. Sam’s court filing shows he is asking Spears to pay his spousal support and cover all his legal and court fees. If that alone was not enough, he also asked for separate assets and various items.

The struggling actor’s filing also shows that he is also asking back Britney’s dog, a Doberman named Porsha, which he had gifted her in 2021, as well as an Australian Shepherd named Sawyer the pair adopted in February.

Asghari accused Spears of cheating on him with a staff. He further said that she physically assaulted him during their marriage.
