Kevin Federline sends best wishes to ex-wife Britney Spears

Britney Spears is getting support from her fans as well as her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

Amid her messy divorce from her third husband, Sam Asghari, Federline, 45, shared a statement via his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan where he said,

”He wishes them both the best,”
”If they reconcile, great, but hopefully it won’t be a factor that makes her feel more alienated than she might otherwise be if she was still in an intact marriage.”

The attorney continued,

”He wishes her the best and hopes that things work out for her for the best,”

Mark said that the former backup dancer wants Spears to be ”be strong, be focused, and get good advice from those around you before making important decisions.”

Spears and Federline fell in love in the early 200s and married each other after meeting at a nightclub.

The couple then welcomed sons Sean, 17, and Jayden, 16, and divorced in 2007.

In May, the pop princess allowed her former spouse to take their sons to Hawaii with him and his new wife Victoria Prince.

Federline’s attorney said that the boys are happy with their new life there.

He explained,

”I mean, everyone in Hawaii is grieving for the horrible tragedy that was visited upon the people of Maui, and in particular the people of the Lahaina area. But aside from that, they’re very happy,”
”They’re happy with the life they have there.”

Britney wants to reconcile with her two sons amid the controversy

Kaplan also detailed that his client has made every effort possible to keep the boys away from the negative media coverage about their famous mother.

Kaplan said at the time,

”Kevin tries to minimize media access to them wherever possible when they’re out,”
”I think Kevin tries to give them a realistic expectation of what’s always going to be out there, because of who their parents are… [he] wants to make sure that they put the best foot forward and take care of themselves.”

Britney previously shared her heartache because of her strained relationship with her sons.

Last year, the Toxic songstress admitted that a part of her had died as she had not seen her boys in more than 6 months and they were not present at her wedding to Sam.

However, Spears had a sense of relief as she reconnected with her sons before their move to Hawaii. She was estranged from her sons for over two years before their move.

An insider claimed that Spears was not happy with her sons’ decision to live with Federline and Prince.

She still hopes they will be able to ”rekindle their relationship, get closer, learn from the past, and collectively work towards a brighter and healthier future someday.”
