Britney Spears wants to repair her bond with her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears

Britney Spears is probably thinking of having her sister back into her life after a very public sibling drama.

The popstar confused the netizens on Friday night by posting a tribute to her estranged sister Jamie Lynn Spears on her birthday.

On her 41st, birthday the Toxic singer posted about her 31-year-old sister. She wrote:

“It’s my b-day but you’re my heart so I’m thinking about you …,”

The mother of two added:

“Congratulations on being so brave, inspiring, and showing guts and glory in your show !!!. You ain’t alone … if anybody knows what that feels like … I get it. My baby sister !!! I love you !!!”

Alongside the emotional post, Britney posted two photos of the Zoey 101 star. One shows Lynn playing the guitar and the other one where she poses for the photograph.

Fans did not know how to react to the unexpected love Britney showered upon her baby sister.

The Spears’ sister’s relationship worsened after Lynne’s memoir came out

In January, Lynn star received a letter from the Criminal singer’s attorney just ahead of her book tour for her memoir called Things I Should Have Said.

The singer’s attorney, Mathew S. Rosengart called the memoir ill-timed with misleading or outrageous claims.

Mathew claimed that it was not a good idea to release the memoir just two months after her sister was released from her 14-year conservatorship controlling her personal, medical, and financial affairs.

Rosengart said at the time:

“Although Britney has not read and does not intend to read your book, she and millions of her fans were shocked to see how you have exploited her for monetary gain. She will not tolerate it, nor should she,”

In response to Jamie’s clapback, the Grammy winner called her sister scum. She said on her since-deleted Instagram post that she should have slapped her selfish little brat sister and mother Lynne.

While the family drama continued, the younger Spears took to her Instagram to share that the social media accusations that her sister made at her were different from what they discussed in private.

She wrote:

“Brit, I am always here for you, you know behind the scenes I have always been here. It’s become exhausting when conversations and texts we have in private don’t match what you post on social media,”

Britney has publicly accused her mother Lynne, dad Jamie, and brother Bryan Spears of the part they played in her abusive conservatorship.
