The basketball player and teacher first met years ago as undergraduates at Baylor University in Texas when Brittney was working hard to make her name in Basketball. She wanted to be the university’s best basketball player of all time.

They reconnected later and started dating only after the Olympic medalist separated from her wife Glory Johnson.

In June 2022, Brittney took to Instagram to describe their first meeting at the university.
