Candice Patton is an American actress and philanthropist.

Candice is best known for her role as Iris West in the currently ongoing CW Television Series ‘The Flash’ and also recognized for her recurring role in the BET television series ‘The Game’ as Tori.

In May and June 2019, Patton, DC Comics Co-Publisher Jim Lee, writer Tom King, and members toured five U.S. military USO bases in Kuwait.

They visited the approximately 12,000 U.S. military personnel stationed there and celebrated DC’s 80th anniversary of Batman.

Patton co-founded Shethority, an online global collective for women to inspire, empower, and share.

Candice Patton was born Candice Kristina Pattonon on 24 June 1988 in Jackson, Mississippi, U.S. Candice’s parents are father Paul Patton, and mother Arianna Jackson.

Her father was an engineer and a musician, while her mother was an actor who worked in theatres and musical dramas. They separated when Candice was just five years old.

Patton is of Euro-Afro-American ethnicity and spent her early life and childhood in Plano, Texas, and raised by her mother along with her brother, Adrian.
