Charlize’s newfound love
South African-American actress Charlize Theron has found a new love. On 19th July 2017, Charlize Theron disclosed to US Weekly that she had gone on a romantic rendezvous with a ‘really cool guy’.
Charlize Theron, 46 refused to divulge the name of the person with whom she had enjoyed the date. She did not reply when enquired about the celebrity status of her new lover.
Charlize Theron seemed ecstatic about this new date.
She said:
“I went on a date maybe, like, a month ago. I had a great date, I’ve got to tell you. I had an incredible date. This guy really impressed me. We went for a 9-mile hike in the middle of the night. It was a full moon. But I was really impressed. It was fun.”
Charlize Theron could not hide her elated emotions. She was bowled over by this new cool guy. Charlize further added:
“I’m not going to say where we met, but we ended up going for a walk … It was just really fun. He was super funny. I think he’s just a really cool dude. It was super private … that’s what made it so much fun, too.”
On 27th May 2017, 5 feet 10 inches tall Charlize Theron was spotted sharing a laugh with Halle Berry’s ex Gabriel Aubry at Santa Monica Pier, California.
Speculation of a budding romance went rife. It is known that Charlize’s 6-year-old son Jackson and Aubry’s 9-year-old daughter Nahla have a common school. Whether her new love is Aubry or someone else only time will unravel!
Charlize’s previous relationships
Charlize Theron was dating Irish actor Stuart Townsend. They had met on the sets of their movie ‘Trapped’ in 2002.
They seemed like a happy couple and had spoken to various dailies that they are like husband and wife and do not need a certificate or marriage to confirm it.
Stuart had said at that time:
“I found this old Victorian ring with little forget-me-nots. I gave it to her as a sign of our commitment to each other. She’s never taken it off.”
However, in January 2010, Charlize went on a trip to Mexico with Stuart and after returning, they split.
It is alleged that Charlize realized that the romance between them was not alive anymore. She felt that their relationship now was more like that of a brother and a sister.
Further, Charlize adopted a son in March 2012.
Her affair with Sean Penn
In December 2013, she started dating actor Sean Penn. They were engaged in December 2014.
In May 2015, Charlize said:
“I was happy when I met Sean and I think that’s why he fell in love with me — because I was happy and fulfilled and had a healthy dose of love for myself — and he’s the same. He doesn’t fill a hole in me and I don’t fill a hole in him.”
They issued an announcement of their split in June. Charlize stopped talking suddenly to Sean Penn. Defending her stand, Charlize had spurned the stories.
She had said:
“It’s just its own beast. We were in a relationship and then it didn’t work anymore. And we both decided to separate. That’s it.”
She also refuted the reports which said that Sean was going to adopt her son.
Charlize further added:
“And in my honesty about wanting to have more kids, there was an understanding that a relationship had to go somewhere before it was going to be – what you hope for, which ultimately did not happen. We had a very clear understanding. He knew that I was thinking about filing for another adoption but that we weren’t filing together.”
Similarly, she adopted a daughter August in July 2015.
