A week ago, the ballroom dancer Cheryl Burke confirmed her divorce from her now-estranged husband Matthew Lawrence. Burke and Lawrence are “keeping divorce matters private” at the moment.

During that time, she asked for understanding and privacy from her fans so that she could deal with personal matters on her own. However, she is now slightly healing from such a traumatic experience and resembling other days. While Lawrence hasn’t yet addressed anything regarding the news of their divorce.

Cheryl Burke: Returns to her wedding venue

Presently, Cheryl is spending her quality time in Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego. The same place where she walked down the aisle with Lawrence almost three years ago.

On Monday (February 28), Burke shared a series of images, the first snap showed Cheryl’s makeup-free face soaking up the sun on a balcony.

In the slideshow, she pictured her beloved French bulldog, Ysabella, and a cheese plate and cookies from her hotel room.

Similarly, she also captioned the posts,

“Taking a few days alone to focus inward, reflect and really try to feel my feelings – with my partner in crime of course. I think it’s important to note, that I am so fortunate to be able to pause and take this time for myself,

Not only that, but DWTS pro also included a location, which is her wedding venue. In the posts, the dancer has also reacted amid the ongoing crisis between Russia and Ukraine.

She said,
