‘Happy married life’! Chris Harrison took a milestone step in his relationship with his fiancee Lauren Zima.

The couple has exchanged vows twice within the last two months. On Saturday, November 4, they hosted a grand wedding ceremony in Austin, Texas with over 225 attendees.

Before the big celebration, they initially married in October in an intimate ceremony in Nepa Valley, California. The new bride, 35, gushed about the wedding to PEOPLE,

“As much as we wanted an intimate weekend for our wedding ceremony in Napa, we also wanted to celebrate getting married with all the great friends we have — hence this bigger party,”

“Doing the second event in Austin [where the couple lives full-time] gave us the ability to include all of our friends, and also made sure that we didn’t leave our wedding feeling like we didn’t even see any of our loved ones— a story we’ve heard before.”

A “Bachelor World” reunion was thrown by the couple the day before the wedding, which was attended by Colton Underwood, Arie Luyendyk Jr, Lauren Burnham, Ben Higgins, Wells Adams, Sarah Hyland, and others.

Musician William Beckman performed their favorite song, “Summer Wind” by Frank Sinatra for the couple’s first dance and in the memory of Lauren’s father Gary Zima, who passed away in 2010.

Lauren wore a strapless A-line satin gown by Sottero & Midgley to both wedding ceremonies.

She changed into an Olivia Bottega gown for the reception.

Chris, on the other hand, looked dapper with black suit pants, a white shirt, and a blue tie.

Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima: Love Life

Lauren first encountered Chris in 2016 during an interview when she worked as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

She was assigned to cover the Bachelor franchise at the time. Zima shared with PEOPLE about their first meeting.

“I went to interview him, and I wasn’t very familiar with the [Bachelor]. I was texting some of my girlfriends from home them after telling them about my day and they said, ‘Oh my gosh, Chris Harrison. Is he so handsome in person? Oh, wow. Are you so nervous?’ I was like, ‘Not really. I don’t really know who this guy is.'”

Adding to that Harrison quipped,

“It was love at first sight, is what she’s trying to say!”

Zima has interviewed Harrison several times before their love affair took off. In August 2018, the two made their relationship Instagram official.

Chris said in an interview in April 2020 that they got even closer during the Coronavirus epidemic. He revealed,

“I think it’s helped us love each other more, respect and I think, appreciate the little things in each other a lot more because there is no getting away or just running away from this. We’re stuck. We’re in.”

Similarly, the couple got engaged two years ago. Chris shared the engagement post writing on October 25, 2021,

“The next chapter starts now.”
