On Tuesday, March 19, Christian was apprehended following an alleged domestic violence incident involving their 2-year-old son, Christian Georges Dumontet.

Authorities were alerted to the situation at approximately 2 pm, after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. An LAPD spokesman Officer J Chaves confirmed,

“Victim and suspect were involved in a domestic dispute, The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim, but the object hit the victim’s child causing injury,”

“The suspect was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.”

The millionaire retired tech entrepreneur is handcuffed while clad in only a bathrobe and barefoot. However, he had bail set at $30,000, according to LA County Sheriff’s records.

Whereas his son was transported to the hospital via ambulance with Christine by his side.

Richard, on the other hand, received a request for an emergency protective order from a Selling Sunset Star. The order has since been accepted and will be in effect for seven days.

The details surrounding the dispute were not immediately disclosed.

Is everything okay between Christian Richard and Christine Quinn?

Christian and Christine have been married for almost five years. In December 2019, the two tied the knot after meeting while filming season 1 of Selling Sunset.

They were set up by one of Quinn’s friends. Richard opened up about their first time meeting during the couple’s engagement party, which was featured on season 2 of the reality show.

He said,

“I absolutely feel head over heels in love. We hit it off in the car. We were literally in the car and we had an instant banter, which is really special. You don’t get that too often.”

In May 2021, the pair then welcomed their first child a son named Christian Georges Dumontet. After leaving the docusoap, they launched a crypto real estate venture, RealOpen, a year later.
