TMZ reports that on 16 July 2024, Josh has filed his papers in court for dissolution of his marriage to Christina. It seems that Christina has also put in her papers one day before on 15 July 2024. What is the reason for this divorce? What are Josh’s demands? Did they have a prenup?

Christina Haack divorces Josh Hall

The married life of HGTV star, Christina Haack, 41 has collapsed. She and her husband, realtor Josh Hall have separated a week ago and both have filed their divorce papers in court one after another.

TMZ has reported that Josh has filed his papers in court to dissolve his short marriage to Christina on 16 July 2024. It is also learned that one day before on 15 July 2024, Christina has also put in her divorce papers. Josh has put the reason as irreconcilable differences.

The couple signed no prenuptial agreement and have no children together. Hence, there is no custody battle involved here.

What are Josh Hall’s demands?

The legal papers of Josh filed in Orange County, CA ask for spousal support from Christina. Additionally, Josh has asserted that the court should prevent Christina from demanding any alimony from him. Josh has put the day of separation of the couple as 8 July 2024.

Regarding the assets of the couple, Josh has asked the court to give each what they possessed before they got married.

He also wants the court to give him absolute and full rights of the HGTV and Discovery Network shows that the two had produced during the time in marriage. There is another show that is coming in 2025 and is called The Flip Off.

Christina had started dating Josh in July 2021 after she separated from her second husband, Ant Anstead. And in September 2022, she walked down the aisle with Josh in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family members as guests. It took place in Maui, Hawaii. She announced about it on her Instagram writing:

Christina’s past relationships

Christina started dating Tarek El Moussa in October 2006. They wed in 2009. The couple has two kids together: daughter Taylor born in 2010 and son Brayden who arrived in 2015 via in-vitro fertilization with Tarek’s sperms. because unfortunately, Tarek had thyroid and testicular cancer in 2013. They split in May 2016 and filed for divorce in 2017. The court granted them divorce in January 2018.

Before the divorce finalization, in November 2017, Christina had already started a relationship with English TV personality, Ant Anstead. They wed at Newport Beach, CA on 22 December 2018. On 6 September 2019, they had a son (Hudson). But this marriage also collapsed and the two split in September 2020. Two months later, she filed for divorce that was finalized seven months later in June 2021.
