Cody Gifford and Erick Brown Gifford have expanded their family.
The couple recently welcomed their second child, another baby boy named Ford Matthew Gifford.
The two are already a parent to 18-month-old son Frankie.

A family of four! Cody Gifford and Erick Brown Gifford added a new member to the family.

On Thursday, November 30, the couple announced on Instagram that Erick had given birth to their second child, a baby boy named Ford Matthew Gifford.

The couple is already a parent to 18-month-old son Frankie, who is named after his late grandfather name, the former NFL Frank Gifford.

Erick debuted her newborn with an Instagram carousel that included a clip of a couple from the hospital before and after welcoming the baby.

Similarly, Frankie could be spotted grinning and seeming enthusiastic about his younger brothers’ arrival. The new mom also captioned the post simply writing,

“Introducing the newest love of our lives, Ford Matthew Gifford, Thanking God immensely for another perfect ‘gift,’ Welcome to the world, Sweet Sweet Son.”

The baby arrived just five months after the couple announced their pregnancy

As soon as the couple announced the baby’s arrival news many were quick to flood the comment section with congratulatory messages.

Cassidy Gifford also expressed her affection for her baby nephew and teased him about his nickname, saying,

“We love you four so much! Welcome to the world little Fordy!!”

The infant became the third grandchild of the family.

Grandmother Kathie Lee is fond of kids

Kathie Lee has never hidden her love for her grandchildren.

The former TODAY co-host opened up about her experience as a first-time grandmother in 2022, when her son Cody Gifford and his wife Erika had their first child.

She shared,

“Every moment is a gift. I knew I was going to love Frank instantly because I love babies. But this is my son’s child— my husband’s son’s son — it’s all such a beautiful tapestry of life and creation.”

Similarly, she talked about how seeing Cody as a parent made the experience of being a grandmother more enjoyable. Lee recalled,

“I remember when I was in the hospital (after giving birth to Cassidy) and Cody kept kissing her head, He said, ‘Mom, why do I love her little head so much?’ I said, ‘Because it’s precious. Go ahead and kiss it, just be gentle, honey.'”

In June, her daughter Cassidy and her husband Ben Wierda also welcomed their first child a baby boy named Finn Thomas Wierda.
