Recently, Coleen Rooney, the wife of the legendary football player Wayne Rooney was seen wearing second-hand designer footwear from Gucci. It so happened that Coleen put up a picture of herself on her Instagram.

She was at the Soho farmhouse and the 33-year-old was relaxing with her feet up. It could be seen that her feet were covered in a pair of racing green velvet Gucci loafers. They had the symbolic gold double G print stitched on the sole.

These shoes, according to Hello, were purchased online from Hush Luxe. This website deals with designer second-hand articles. It buys designer, pre-owned goods from its initial owners, and posts them on its website for sale and the prices they quote are far less than the original price of goods at the stores.

Coleen has a very expensive wardrobe to go with her status and wealth. But once in a while, she does like to do some great high street shopping and enjoys it.

In 2018, this Liverpool native wore a houndstooth checked top which she purchased from a Spanish store. The tweed top had a funnel collar and she matched it with simple skinny jeans and trainers.

Coleen Rooney recalls her first expensive wear

Coleen remembers the first expensive dress that she had purchased when she was, in high school. It was a party dress and she wanted to wear it for Wayne’s father’s 40th birthday. In an interview given to the Liverpool Echo, Coleen said:

“It was a Marc Jacobs dress from Cricket to wear to Wayne’s dad’s 40th. I was 16 so it was quite a grown-up choice but I don’t know what made me choose that particular dress. I hadn’t seen it in a magazine, although if I see something I like it doesn’t matter what label it is or whether it’s high street or designer.”

So she had made it clear there itself that she likes fashion and does not mind whether it is high street or designer wear. The cost and label are immaterial as long as it is in fashion, looks good, and she likes it.
