David was a legendary veteran stand-up comedian, sitcom writer, producer, and actor. His unexpected death stunned the world when his family announced the tragic news with an emotional statement.
According to his family, the star died from natural causes. The representative of Arnold, Rob Greenwald shared with USA TODAY,
“It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend,”
The Statement reads,
“David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.”

Who was David Arnold?
David Arnold was an American-renowned stand-up comedian, actor, sitcom writer, and producer. He was the showrunner of Nickelodeon’s “That Girl Lay Lay” and served as a producer on Netflix sitcom “Fuller House”, the “Full House” reboot.
David was born to Andreas Arntzen and Joyce Polycarp on March 15, 1968. Similarly, he hails from Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States.
Talking about his academic history, he went to Beachwood High School. Following his graduation, he developed an interest in standup after Eddie Murphy‘s Delirious special.
He then made his debut stand-up set at Cleveland’s Hilarities 4th Street Theatre. Arnold wrote some episodes for several comedic shows such as The Rickey Smiley Show (TV One), “Raising Whitley (OWN),” “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne (TBS),” and “The Tony Rock Project (MyNetworkTV)”.
