The actress revealed the good news just a week after rocking her tiny baby bump while going for a walk in Los Angeles.
Wu welcomed her first child, a baby girl in August 2020 with Kattner.

Congratulations are in order for Constance Wu and her partner Ryan Kattner who are expecting their second child together.

The Hustlers actress wrote via her IG Stories on Tuesday, alongside a picture of her growing baby bump,

“Bun in the oven. Filipinese baby #2 coming soon ❤️,”

Wu’s official announcement comes just a week after fans spotted her tiny baby bump while she went for a walk in a Los Angeles park.

The Crazy Rich Asians star, 40, looked casual in a striped shirt, black sweats, sneakers, and a black New York Giants baseball cap during her stroll.

Though Constance decided to share the exciting news of her second pregnancy with her fans, she kept the news of her first pregnancy a secret.

In August 2020, the American actress became a first-time mom when she welcomed her first child with her partner Ryan.

Till now, the private parents have not spoken much about their daughter. So much so, that they also have not yet disclosed their 2-year-old’s name.

Wu, however, revealed in 2021 that her daughter has a special birthmark that causes her butt to turn blue.

During her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Wu explained,

“Her butt is the color blue. There’s this thing, I had never heard of it before, but it’s called a Mongolian spot,”
”Apparently, it happens in a lot of Asian babies, and my boyfriend and I are both Asian,”
“And it’s where your butt is blue for like the first two years of your life, and then it just goes away.”

Wu is very private about her family life

Last year, The Fresh Off the Boat star also discussed how her Terminal List co-star Chris Pratt helped her become a working mom.

The Making a Scene author recalled,

“My first day on set was hard,”
“I missed my baby. It was the hardest day to stay at work because it was so emotional, something so many moms go through on their first day back at work.”

The actress also started working in the family series Lyle, Lyle Crocodile and revealed her excitement for her child in an interview, saying,

“I started my TV career doing a family show, which was amazing,”

“It’s wonderful to be able to do that again. And now that I have a kid, it’s something I can hopefully share with her.”

In October last year, the actress also told reporters that her toddler daughter cannot stay still for even 10 minutes.

Wu, who is very mum about her private life also does not disclose much about her love life with the Man Man rocker, 42.

The actress and the musician have been dating for at least 3 years now.

Constance recently returned to Instagram after a three-year-long break in 2019. The star felt forced to delete her account after receiving many negative comments after she gave her opinion about the renewal of her show Fresh Off the Boat.
