The Coronavirus OutBreak; Many Films, Concerts, And Tours Are On Pause In The Recent Time!
Coronavirus is one of the viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. The virus has created great fear in most parts of the world.
The virus outbreak has had a major implication on human beings. This has also started to show the impact on Hollywood projects.
Impact of Coronavirus on Hollywood projects
Alongside the impact on humans, coronavirus has also shown a major impact on some Hollywood projects. Recently, one of the coronaviruses has shown its impact on James Bond‘s No Time To Die, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Mulan.
Because of the virus, the show is either canceled or postponed in China altogether. As per the report, the outbreak may result in more than $1 billion of lost revenue for the film industry. Comscore senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian has stated:
“There are so many moving parts and implications, not just for movie theaters but for public spaces in general. The uncertainty is the one thing that is certain. At the end of the year, box-office numbers, particularly regarding China, are going to have an asterisk.”
The virus outbreak has also canceled other music events, and some of the forthcoming projects are shut down. Some of the musical acts of Green Day and BTS have pushed back their shows in Asia. Mission: Impossible 7 and The Amazing Race have kept their shoots on pause for now.

The big projects that are on hold
Many big projects are either on hold or canceled due to the virus. The “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” band announced they have decided to postpone their tour dates across Asia after the outbreak.
They also mentioned they will announce the new date very soon. Another band who canceled their show is BTS. Big Hit Entertainment has also canceled the four shows of BTS that were to happen this April.
Tom Cruise’s Misson Impossible 7 team who was planning to film for three weeks in Venice, Italy has altered the plan. They altered it for the safety of the team and movie cast and crew after the rise of the Coronavirus.
The publicity tour and the premiere of James Bond‘s ‘No Time To Die’ will no longer be in China. The 2020 Olympics which are set to be in China is having the biggest impact after the outbreak.
Because of the outbreak, Paramount’s China office has postponed Sonic the Hedgehog’s release date in the Asian country. The $200 million Disney live-action remake is having a big impact after the outbreak.
Moreover, Academy Award best picture nominees Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, and 1917 are also canceled.
