Split alert! Courtney Stodden and Chris Sheng are no longer an engaged couple. The pair have called it quits on their engagement after nearly seven years of togetherness.

The representative for Stodden confirmed to Page Six that the pair have parted ways.

“Courtney is now a single woman. She is looking forward to telling her story.”

According to a source close to the former couple, they already separated six months ago in an amicable manner, as reported by TMZ. While another source added,

“The car was out of gas.”

The exact reasons for their breakup remain unknown, however, Stodden’s friends claimed that they had underlying issues of jealousy and insecurity in their relationship.

Courtney shared with her friends that she believed Chris was not paying attention to her, and her friends agreed with her.

Her friends even felt that they were not a good match from the beginning.

According to TMZ, the former couple lived together for a while and kept in touch even after breaking up.

In March 2020, they finalized their divorce, and in the same month, Stodden opened up about her relationship with Chris Sheng. She told,

“I’ve been dating the same guy for three years, Chris. I am working on myself every day. It’s hard for me to completely open up to him and trust. I’m constantly pulling back and criticizing everything about everything. I need time to heal and hopefully I can learn how to love again fully.”
