‘Dances With Wolves’ star Nathan Chasing Horse arrested on multiple sexual crimes

Nathan Chasing Horse arrested for sexual crimes
Police detained Former “Dances With Wolves” actor Nathan Chasing Horse, on 31st January 2023.
The Associated Press reports that two decades-old sexual assault allegations led Las Vegas police to raid his home.
Five wives lived with the actor near his North Las Vegas home, where he was handcuffed Tuesday afternoon. His arrest came after months of investigation spurred by an October tip to police.
Later in the evening, SWAT police stood outside his house while detectives searched the property.

Police received a tip in October 2022 about Chasing
His arrest is the result of a months-long investigation that began in October 2022 after police received a tip.
AP obtained a 50-page search warrant naming Nathan Chasing Horse as the leader of The Circle cult.
According to the paper, Las Vegas police have identified at least six alleged victims and discovered sexual allegations against Chasing Horse dating back to the early 2000s in several states, including Montana, South Dakota, and Nevada, where he has lived for about a decade.
What crimes did Nathan Chasing Horse commit?
In 2018, human trafficking charges led to Nathan Chasing Horse’s expulsion from the Fort Peck Reservation in Poplar, Montana.
Furthermore, the police discovered sexual claims against the actor dating back to the early 2000s in several jurisdictions, including Montana, South Dakota, and Nevada, where he has lived for nearly ten years.
“Nathan Chasing Horse used spiritual traditions and their belief system as a tool to sexually assault young girls on numerous occasions,” it states.
Moreover, he also led his followers to believe he could speak with higher entities and referred to him as “Medicine Man” or “Holy Person.”
Although the warrant contains specifics of offenses recorded elsewhere, the arrest is related to crimes allegedly committed in Clark County, Nevada.
According to the warrant, some of the accused victims were as young as 13 years old. A bride was given to Chasing Horse as a “present” when she was 15, and another married him when she was 16.
During his acting career, he was most recognized for his performance as the adolescent Sioux tribe member Smiles a Lot in Kevin Costner’s Oscar-winning 1990 picture Dances With Wolves.
