The love journey of this couple is kinda wired but interesting. They are taking divorced after four years of the actual split. This couple part their ways for four years but were never officially divorced.

Regarding the divorce Darius Campbell made a statement saying:

“In the most bittersweet and wonderful way, we’re dear friends.We filed for divorce three years ago. I really meant what I said, when you stand in front of someone and you say I’m going to give you my life, you mean it. And if you don’t, you shouldn’t be in it, so get out”.

He added:

“We tried to make it work and we’ve separated and we’re divorcing. But in the best way and we’re still friends. I got to be in the most amazing relationship, I got to be a stepfather. It was a gift”.

The duo met at a pedestrian crossing in 2004. They were madly in love with each other. Darius and Natasha Henstridge tied the knot secretly on 2011 Valentine’s Day.

They cherish each moment with each other. But things always don’t go the same way. Due to work commitments, the couple had to part ways in January 2010.

They reunited after five months of the split as they were so much in love with each other. This is a weird but adorable story of Darius Campbell and Natasha Henstridge.

However, in 2013, the couple finalized their divorce.

The reason behind Darius changing his name

Darius holds two decent Italian from his father and Scottish from his mother. Darius was born with the last name Danesh, which was from his Italian father’s name.

Later on, he decided to change his last name to Campbell from his Scottish mother as he felt so Scottish.

According to him:

“[My grandfather] is originally from Greenock and he sang The Green Oak Tree to me. He sang it in such a way it brought tears to my eyes, He was in tears at the end of it, as well,”
“He said to me, ‘I am proud of you. No matter where you are in the world, you’ll always be a Campbell. You’ll always be a Scot and you’ll always be my grandson’. I am Scottish. I am proud of my heritage and I don’t want to lose that,”

He added:

“When I travel the world, I feel so deeply Scottish. When people know me as Darius Danesh, it doesn’t reflect that I am Scottish. People say it’s not a very Scottish name. But Darius Campbell reflects that I am Scottish,”

Update on the divorce

There have been no reports about their divorce filing after their statements. In November 2017, Natasha Henstridge was one of the female celebrities who had come forward to speak about the sexual assault that they had suffered at the hands of Weinstein.
